AM Best has ranked the US UnitedHealth Group and German Allianz as the world’s largest insurers.

UnitedHealth Group topped the list for the sixth consecutive year with $ 189.7 billion in net written premiums (NPW) in 2019. In the meantime, Allianz SE and Prudential Financial jumped ahead of AXA SA to first and second place in the AM Best ranking by 2019. Bank assets.
