MS Amlin ACS broadcasts CEO for key unit
MS Amlin Corporate Services Limited (MS ACS) has appointed Matthew Pasterfield (pictured) of The Hartford as Chief Executive Officer of the MS Amlin Business Services (MS ABS) unit.
He will take up his new role in 2022, replacing Rob Houghton, who is leaving at the end of the year to pursue opportunities outside the company.
Pasterfield has more than two decades of industry experience leading information technology and operations for several insurance giants. Most recently, he was International Chief Operating Officer at the property and casualty insurer The Hartford.
“His experience is well suited to help MS ABS further improve its strategy and serve MS Amlin’s legal entities,” the company said in a statement.
The current MC ACS CEO Robin Adam will assist in the transition and serve as interim CEO until Pasterfield arrives.
Adam also thanked Houghton for leading the unit for over a year.
“On behalf of everyone in the MS Amlin group of companies, we thank Rob for his service and commitment to the company,” he said. “His leadership and vision have created a solid strategy to move MS ACS forward. We wish Rob every success in his future work. “
