Lockton bolsters wholesale P&C division with new rent
Lockton, the world’s largest independent, privately owned insurance broker, has appointed Andrzej Danyluk to lead international property in its wholesale property and casualty insurance business. In his new role, Danyluk will be responsible for expanding clients’ international real estate portfolios in collaboration with Lockton’s international offices and partners. He will be based in London and report to Simon Scholfield, Head of Wholesale P&C.
Danyluk joins Lockton from Willis Towers Watson where he led the UK international real estate team. He also worked for Jardine Lloyd Thompson for four years, including as head of the brokerage team for electricity and renewable energies.
Lockton’s wholesale P&C business has grown exponentially in recent years. Danyluk’s appointment is the latest of several strategic wholesale hires in recent months, Lockton said.
“I am delighted to welcome Andrzej,” said Scholdfield. “We are now perfectly positioned to take our international wholesale property growth to the next level. Strategically targeted investments by employees in our retail space around the world over the past 18 months have allowed us to significantly accelerate our wholesale offering. Andrzej’s extensive experience will improve and strengthen our customer offering while also helping the team continue to challenge the market with new products and lateral placement solutions. “
