France shares greater at shut of commerce; CAC 40 up 1.24% By


© Reuters. France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 1.24% – France stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, while gains in the, and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close of trading in Paris, the index was up 1.24% while the index was up 1.24%.

The worst performers of the session were Carrefour SA (PA :), which fell 0.89% or 0.14 points to close at 15.62. Engie SA (PA 🙂 lost 0.69% or 0.09 points to end at 12.86 and Eurofins Scientific SE (PA 🙂 fell 0.24% or 0.26 points to 107.94.

The top performers of the SBF 120 were OVH Groupe SAS (PA :), which rose by 6.97% to 23.25. Mcphy Energy (PA 🙂 which is up 6.85% to level off at 21.06 and Valneva (PA :), which rose 6.12% to close at 26.020.

The worst performers were Vallourec (PA :), which is down 0.92% to 8.660 in late trade, Carrefour SA (PA :), which is down 0.89% to level off at 15.62, and Engie SA (PA :), which is at Close of trade fell 0.69% to 12.86.

Rising stocks outperformed declining stocks by 420 to 203 on the Paris Stock Exchange and 84 ended unchanged.

Ovh Groupe SAS (PA 🙂 shares rose to all-time highs; 6.97% or 1.51 to 23.25.

The one that measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options was unchanged at 0%, hitting a new 52-week low at 18.96.

Gold futures for February delivery rose 0.65%, or 11.55, to $ 1,800.25 an ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil for delivery in February rose 1.48% or 1.05 to $ 72.17 a barrel, while the Brent oil contract rose 1.07% or 0.79 to $ 74.75 a barrel in March .

EUR / USD rose 0.41% to 1.1329 while EUR / GBP fell 0.22% to 0.8482.

The US dollar index futures lost 0.42% to 96.085.
