AIG faucets new underwriting chief for worldwide casualty
The American International Group (AIG) announced the appointment of Clara Brady as Chief Underwriting Officer for International Liability Insurance. In this role, Brady (pictured above) will lead the overall strategic direction and objectives for international liability underwriting.
Brady is based in Zurich and reports to Lex Baugh, Global Chief Underwriting Officer for Liability and Financial Insurance, and John Hancock, CEO of International General Insurance at AIG. She succeeds Patrick Mailloux, who has left the company.
Prior to joining AIG, Brady was Global Head of Liability at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty. She also held management positions at Swiss Re. Brady began her career as an underwriter at Chubb.
