29 Automobiles That Will Disappear in 2022

We all hope some things will go away in 2022 – for starters, COVID-19 and inflation.

However, depending on your preferences, you’ll get a little bleary-eyed over some of the car models due to be phased out later this year.

According to Car and Driver, more than two dozen models will be heading to this great dealership in the sky and will not have any new 2022 models.

The vehicles that will soon no longer be missing from the new car places include:

  • BMW 2 Series Convertible
  • BMW M2
  • BMW i3
  • Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat
  • Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT
  • Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk
  • Honda Clarity EV
  • Hyundai Ioniq electric
  • Hyundai Veloster
  • Kia Sedona
  • Lotus Evora GT
  • Mazda CX-3
  • Mazda6
  • McLaren Elva
  • Mercedes AMG A35
  • Mercedes AMG CLS53
  • Mercedes AMG GT Coupé
  • Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster
  • Nissan NV
  • Nissan NV200
  • polar star 1
  • Porsche Macan Turbo
  • Rolls Royce Dawn
  • Rolls Royce Wraith
  • Subaru WRXSTI
  • Toyota SUV
  • Volvo V60
  • Volvo V90
  • Volkswagen passat

It is worth noting that some of these models will live on in a different form. For example, parts of the Volvo V60 and V90 estate range – the V60 Cross Country and V90 Cross Country models – will come by 2022.

And “arguably the best version of Hyundai’s Veloster” — the Veloster N — continues, says Car and Driver.

This year’s dearly departed car models follow more than 20 models that disappeared in 2021, the publication said.
